The detection&lt;sup&gt; &lt;/sup&gt;limit of the assays, the intra- and interassay coefficients&lt;sup&gt; &lt;/sup&gt;of variation were: 5.0 U/ml, 3.9% and 6.9%, for Tg Ab and 0.7&lt;sup&gt; &lt;/sup&gt;U/ml, 2.5% and 6.6%, for TPO Abs, respectively. Quality control&lt;sup&gt; &lt;/sup&gt;pools at low, normal, and high concentrations for all parameters&lt;sup&gt; &lt;/sup&gt;were present in each assay. Samples were assayed in duplicate.&lt;sup&gt; &lt;/sup&gt;Serum IP-10/CXCL10 levels were assayed by a quantitative sandwich&lt;sup&gt; &lt;/sup&gt;immunoassay using a commercially available kit (R&amp;amp;D Systems,&lt;sup&gt; &lt;/sup&gt;Minneapolis, MN), with a sensitivity ranging from 0.41 and 4.46&lt;sup&gt; &lt;/sup&gt;pg/ml and a mean minimum detectable dose of 1.67 pg/ml.
